  • Look to the future??? xx

Hollie came out with a beautiful name today for our future addition maybe. She said "we can have a girl called Abigail?".....both Craig and i looked at each other and said that is a lovely name. We also like Phoebe but i am sure if and when we decide for another the name race will have changed!!!

Hollie and i have been for our hair cuts today and they look brilliant. Lucie curled Hollie's hair and she looked gorgeous :)

Madison also looked lovely today in her summer dress, Monsoon booties and cute hair clip. Just wish Summer would just grace us....even for a weekend????

  • Washing, washing & washing xx

Well since 4pm yesterday until 3pm today i have done 13 loads of washing!!! Shocking how much washing accumulates. all the wardrobes and nappy shelf look much healthy now and thank goodness its all done. Luckily for me it has been a lovely warm and waindy day so ALL of it got dried, ironed and put away by 8pm tonight........i am exhausted!!

Our tumble dryer arrives on Wednesday and i think it is going to make a huge difference. Winter in our house is usually full of illness with my arthritis and Hollie's asthma so without the wet washing to aggrovate both of those i am hoping winter is going to a much easier season to deal with.

Talking of Hollie and asthma......when we put her to bed tonight she was quite weezy which is strange. The pollen count has been quite high today so i don't know if this as triggered it but anyways, she had her inhaler for the 1st time in months and tbh i am checking on her loads as she is really weezy. Looks like a sleepless night for me as i can't settle very well if i know her asthma is playing up. She has had so many attacks in the past that each time she has an episode like this i worry. Fingers crossed it passes over night.

Madison has been a joy this last few days. She is teething bless her and her cheeks are soooo red but she is starting to get a proper personality. Its at this stage that Craig and i love about having kids. She is cruising round every bit of furniture and i am sure she is going to walk soon. Thats when the real hard work comes in. Need to get the stair gaes sorted for the lower stairs and kitchen door.

Dad stayed until after the match today. I always gone a bit of lull when dad leaves as he feels so far away and i love him being around. He has helped loads since he arrived yesterday afternoon and he is fab to be around. Craig and the girls love having him here too.

Off to bed now. Been up since 7am and have been manically trying to get all the wet washing dried and ironed. Misson accomplished.

  • Congratulations xx

My friend Laura had her baby on tuesday wahoo! She had him so quickly so thats excellent. Jayden Thomas, born at 13.50pm weighing 7lb 11oz. We are going to see him tonight so i am very excited. Awwwww.....

Took Madison to the doctors today about her hips. Dr Martin said she is fine and her creases are perfect so once again bloody health visitors worrying you over nothing. Dr Martin also agreed with me that they can make you feel worried but are there for good reasons mmmmmmmmm whatever lol!!!

Hollie has been awful as usual but i have been googling and have a few things up my sleeve to hopefully make a change to her behaviour. Will let you know if i succeed.

Our washing machine broke yesterday grrrrr. So my Dad has come to the rescue and is coming up in his van tomorrow to pick one up for us. We have also bought a tumble dryer which im not best please about but for Hollie's asthma and my arthritis we really do need one for over winter.

Must dash, just noticed Madison has fallen asleep in her highchair....bad mummy lol!!!

  • weigh day xx

Took Madison to be weighed today. She was 10 months old yesterday and today she weighed in at 16lb 7oz measuring 77cm in length. We have to go to the doctors with her on Friday as her creases on her legs dont match up and they are suspecting a shallow socket. She will probably be referred to the hospital for an x-ray.

Hollie, Madison and i then trundled off to the libary to return our books and replace them with new ones. I ordered some breastfeeding books a while back and so i collected them today. Hollie got 2 books too so no doubt i will be hounded with them until we return them.

My friend Laura is 3 days overdue now. She must feel like a ticking time bomb as having gone over with both my girls i know how she feels. Frustrated lol!!! Every text i recieve i rush to answer to see if it is Laura texting with her birth announcement lol!

23 days until Hollie starts reception class. Uniform is ready apart from her shoes which we are going to buy on Friday when Craig is off work.

  • Home from GG's xx

Got back home at about 17.30 after going for a meal at The Watermill yum yum.

I am feeling much more alert and active so i think my Thyroxine is kicking in.

Tomorrow i am going to go and get Madison weighed and then go to the libary to take some books back and collect some books i ordered. Must get onto the health visitor too about my reference for the breastfeeding councelling position.

  • Weekend with GG x

Today is the day that i decided that i needed somewhere to vent........

My name is Hayley Savage and i am married to Craig Savage. We live in Kendal, Cumbria. Craig is a "Kendalian" and i am "fake scouse" as i am from Sunny Runny also known as Runcorn in Cheshire! I am 24 and my hubby is 33, both Aquarian's and parents to two beautiful girls named Hollie Savage and Madison Savage. Hollie is 4, 5 in November, and Madison is a mighty 10 months old tomorrow, 1 in October. Hollie is a Kendalian and Madison is a Lancashire chick!!!

Craig and i have been together 6 years and 2 months and life gets better each year. We have our ups and downs like many couple's do and we love a good argument. Clears the air and the making up isnt too bad either lol!

As parents we are complete opposites. Hollie is daddy's girl and Madison is Mummy's girl. Craig very much is the laid back parent and i am the discipliner as i am sure is like many households.

I currently don't work therefore am classed as one of two things......full time mummy or housewife! Craig works for Lakeland Limited in Kendal.

My births with the 2 girls were complete opposites. Hollie was born in Helme Chase Maternity Unit, Kendal after 4 1/2 hours of labour with no problems. Madison was supposed to be born at home but problems arose in labour which resulted in a transfer to Lancaster Infirmary which ended in a 45 minute labour. Both labours/births were quick and relatively easy.

I am currently breastfeeding my youngest daughter. I am very proud of this as i see it as an acheivement and one thing in my life that i have stuck at and fought for. I have an illness which could of prevented me from breastfeeding for the length of time i have done but with much determination i have successfully beaten a battle i never in my wildest dreams thought i would have the confidence to do.

Illnesses- I am a Rheumatoid arthritis sufferer which is inherited from my father side of the family. I was diagnosed at 17 with this disease that i thought only "old" people got. WRONG!!! In the time since i wa diagnosed i have been on countless medications and have had two major operations that changed my life forever. I currently have my right wrist fused and left shoulder replaced and fused. Further operations are dependant on this unpredictable disease. Recently i was also diagnosed with and under active thyroid which has been inherited from my fathers side of the family (again!!!). They say it was developed from my 2nd pregnancy. This means more medication to be continued for the rest of my life.

Family is sparce. My father, whom i am very close to, is a major part of our lives and adored by myself and my girls. My brother is also involved with our lived but not so much. I dont talk to my mother due to many issues with have been dealt with by many months of councelling and because of this my sister, nan and grandad have all chosen not to speak to me also. I have become a d much more confident person since the fallout and this will remain now i have the witches of eastwick (my mum, sister and nan) aren't in my life. My mother in law and father in law are alos involved in our lives and they are fantastic people whom help us as much as possible.

So thats me and my family. I am sure i have missed loads out but it will all be told here in this blog. My thoughts, rambles and rants :) xx
